Camp EKKO 2026 Rocky Mountains

Please join your EKKO community at the 2nd Annual Camp EKKO! 🎉

This year is a big change from 2025 — we’re holding it at a beautiful full-hookups RV park just 30 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park in Northern Colorado. The resort has a paddling lake, a rainbow trout fishing lake, bike rentals, two restaurant/bars, pickleball, bocce ball, volleyball, basketball, a swimming pool, a gym, golf cart rentals, and more.

No registration fees for the rally activities — you only pay for your campsite directly to the park.

WHAT’S HAPPENING

Silent Auction — We’re raising money for RV Care-a-Vanners, a division of Habitat for Humanity that organizes RVers to work on builds across the country. They’ll be camping onsite — swing by and meet them!

Festival of Lights — Dig out your holiday lights, Halloween string lights, disco balls — whatever sparks joy. Set up a lighted display at your campsite after dark. There may even be prizes for the most creative setups!

Mod Tours — When you arrive you’ll get a bright green paper. Put it on your windshield whenever you’re open for visitors. Pro tip: jot down a list of your main mods to display alongside it.

Yarn Circle — Knitters and crocheters: Donna Pareene is hosting a yarn circle benefiting Warm Up America, which assembles handmade 7x9“ sections into blankets for people in need. Bring #4 weight machine-washable yarn — or start a section before the rally and bring it finished. Patterns available on their site.

Pickleball — Open play hosted by Tommy & Tracy Hwang and Diane Kelsay. King of the Court style, no sign-up needed — just show up with your paddle. Loaner paddles available.

Book Club — Read Killer Chardonnay by Colorado author Katie Lansing before the rally, then gather at Nancy Van Wert’s campsite for a book club social. Bring something to eat or drink that fits the theme!

HOW TO REGISTER

⚠️ IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BOOK: Do not book online and do not call the national reservations line (so, do not press 1 when you call the #). Both will put you outside our reserved block at a higher price. Follow the steps below to get a Camp EKKO site.

  1. Reserve your campsite: Call Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains directly at 970-557-0200, then press 4, then press 5, and you may have to leave a voicemail — they’re great at calling back. When they call you back, tell them you’re reserving for Camp EKKO, 3 nights, August 27–30. They’ll ask you to choose your site, so have the site map handy (posted below). Sites range from $72–$106/night.
  2. Fill out the registration form (after you have your site number). This gets you on our list for email updates as plans come together.
  3. Hit “Going” on the Facebook Event This will (hopefully) get you Facebook notifications when we post updates here in the event. That said, Facebook is unreliable about this — so check back here occasionally and look under the Posts to stay in the loop.

VENDORS: If you offer products or services specific to EKKOs, we’d love to have you! Email [email protected] for details—we have a dedicated section for you. In exchange for a spot, we ask that you host informal mini-chats/demos/activities at your campsite throughout Friday and Saturday — repeated a couple of times each day to keep crowds small and the vibe relaxed.

Hope to see you in Granby! 🏕️

NEED TO CANCEL?

If you need to cancel your campsite reservation, please email [email protected] so she can return your site to the reserved block. The rally is now on a waitlist, so your spot won’t go to waste!
